A rare and very attractive tarantula species from South America. Antikuna sp. “Herradura” is characterized by its intense blue-purple coloration on the carapace and legs, combined with a contrasting abdomen covered with reddish hairs. It is a terrestrial species that can be relatively quick and alert, and is therefore recommended for keepers with some experience. Under proper conditions it shows good activity and a strong feeding response.
