Description
The genus Phormingochilus was created by Pocock (1895) to house two species, one (the genotype) being a female specimen collected from northwestern Borneo which he named P. everetti, and a second specimen, named Phormingochilus tigrinus Pocock, 1895 from Kuala Lama, Borneo.
This is another new species recently discovered in Borneo – Indonesian part Kalimantan
